LOAD ANALYSIS

Updated: Jul 12, 2022

Identifying the load transferring elements of a room of our house and further analyzing the transfer of loads from the terrace to the selected room to the foundation system.

A G + 3 Building built in 1990 has an RCC Framed structure having brick infills.

Various elements of the building, such as corrugated sheets, parapet walls, and tiled flooring, contribute to the load transferred to the beams, columns, and shear walls extended underground having a footing.

This study helped us to understand the load transfer more briefly and how even basic elements contribute to it, the average beam depth to column ratio, various kinds of footings in use and their uses, the direction in which various forces are acting, also the types of forces and loads.
