PESTS ANALYSIS
The small insects around us have such a complex well-defined form and mechanism. Understanding this complexity through drawings and some kind of physical form was the intent behind this module. For that, we had to choose an insect that interests us, a movement or the form or the mechanism that intrigues us.

Have u seen a cockroach on his back? the way its legs move, the way it just comes flying out of nowhere toward you and gives you the creepiest chills.
it fascinated me.
As I started studying cockroaches very minutely, I slowly started to understand their form, their wings mechanism, their biological analyses, how the different parts come together and make it a whole...
To understand its form in much more detail, making it physically was helpful. the material I used for making it was styrofoam.
the inner wings were done using a gateway sheet and a brown watercolor marker.
The making of the cockroach wings was very intricate but interesting at the same point.

Looking back now I do feel choosing cockroaches for insect study wasn't a very wise choice. maybe if I had searched more I could have found other insects that I find intriguing, frankly speaking, I wasn't very satisfied with this module. it did help in understanding the form and certain mechanisms of the insect. But something more interesting rather than just repetitive figures differencing in scales.
